Peanut Butter + Banana Pupcakes
Did someone say PAW-TY?? This finger, er, paw licking treat is one to make any birthday bash a hit! Maggie combined two of her favorite flavors peanut butter and bananas to make a dog-safe dessert for any celebration.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of Plain Flour
- 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
- 1/4 cup of Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1 Medium Banana (Mashed)
- 1 Egg
- 2 Tbsp of Water
- Peanut Butter and Banana Frosting*
- *1/2 cup of Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup of Peanut Butter
- 1/2 of a Medium Banana (Mashed)
- Piping Bag
Instructions
- Step One: Preheat the oven to 350 F. Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners of your choice.
- Step Two: Sift the flour and baking powder, set aside to add in later. In a medium bowl, stir together the peanut butter, mashed banana, egg and water until combined. Stir in the flour and baking powder mixture until smooth.
- Step Three: Scoop into the cupcake liners. Bake mini cupcakes for 8-10 minutes and big cupcakes for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool while you make the frosting.
- Step Four: Combine the peanut butter and cream cheese together and mix. Add the mashed banana and mix for two minutes until the mixture is smooth. Put the frosting into a piping bag.
- Step Five: Pipe the frosting onto the cupcake. Chill and serve.
