Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 Tbsp of Peanut Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 1/2 cups of Whole Wheat Flour

Instructions

  • Step One: Preheat oven to 180 C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • Step Two: In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat pumpkin puree, peanut butter and egg on medium-high until well combined, about 1-2 minutes. Gradually add the flour at low speed, beating just until incorporated. Add an additional 1/4 cup flour at a time just until the dough is no longer sticky.
  • Step Three: Working on a lightly floured surface, knead the dough 3-4 times until it comes together. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using cookie cutters, cut out desired shapes and place onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Step Four: Place into the oven and bake until the edges are golden brown, about 18-20 minutes.
  • Step Five: Let cool completely.
  • *store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 10 days

Peanut butter is a yummy source of protein. Be sure to always check the ingredient list and avoid brands that contain xylitol due to it being toxic to dogs.
