A hearty healthy recipe from our four-legged friend Bailey, herds together lamb, carrots, and broccoli to make a tasty KONG stuffing. Keep some stashed in the freezer to have the enrichment on hand at all times. The perfect recipe guaranteed to keep your canine companion occupied and entertained!

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups of Fresh Lamb Liver
  • 1 3/4 cups of Self-Rising Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • Water
  • Chopped Carrots and Broccoli (Fresh)

Instructions

  • Step One: Preheat the oven to 350 F. Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl with a splash of water. Whisk the mixture together to create an egg wash.
  • Step Two: Coat the liver in the egg wash before covering it in the flour. Blend the liver into a sponge mixture before placing it onto a greased baking sheet.
  • Step Three: Place the sheet into the oven and allow to cook for 35-45 minutes. Take out and allow to cool. Divide the mixture into KONG sized pieces and freeze.
  • Step Four: When ready to serve, place the mixture in the KONG and top the frozen mixture with the fresh cut vegetables. Keep the mixture for up to one month and never refreeze.
